WHAT IS THE QUESTION?
IS IT
WHY ARE THE PROTISTA A KINGDOM
OR IS IT
WHY IS THERE A GROUP CALLED PROTISTA
AS POINTED OUT BY OODLES OF WRITERS, THE PROTISTA ARE PARAPHYLETIC, AND
THERE IS NO CHARACTER WHICH THEY, TO THE EXCLUSION OF ALL OTHER
ORGANISMS, SHARE. SOME MIGHT SAY THE CONCEPT IS OBSOLETE.
