Classification schemes are always subject to change, and there are also
many views. The french view of ciliate classification is not the same as
the German view, which differs from the Austrian, which differs from ther
Russian, the American, the Canadian etc. If we went from one group to
another, there would be a shift in perspective. Is that what you are
referring to. Or perhaps your question is directed at the IG-2 coverage
of ciliates. In which case why not contactthe author of that section
directly and ask his/their views (start with Denis Lynn)

I was unaware that IG-2 is delayed. Perhaps you could provide me with
your understanding of the agenda and an indication of how far behind we are.

Thanks,

David Patterson
