I am currently enrolled in a first year biology course, and am
wondering if any of you biologists out there could help me out. My
project is to make a culture of spirostomum ambiguum, and with one of the
cultures, alter it in some way, that would increase the growth ratios. I
am very interested in this experiment, yet know very little about the
organism. I was hoping someone could help me out, and give me some ideas
of an interesting variable that I could change that would make my culture
grow by an outstanding amount. I am also looking for information on the
organism, and would appreciate your comments. Thanks for you time and
