Marine Biologist/Biological Oceanographer: The Division of Marine Science
at Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution invites applications for an
Associate Scientist (equivalent to Associate Professor). We are seeking a
scientist with an established record of scientific productivity, a proven
track record of external funding, and complementation of existing programs.
Those with expertise in (1) Marine Microbiology, (2) Phytoplankton Biology,
(3) Molecular Genetics, or (4) Deep-sea Ichthyology and who have research
programs that can attract external funding for use of HBOI ships and
submersibles are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants should submit a
curriculum vitae, reprints of up to five important publications, outline of
