Dear Colleagues;
It is well known that the individual cells of
baczeria such as E. coli are larger when the cells
are gowing at high specific growth rates than they
are when growing at low specific growth rates. Does
anyone know of any coorelation between cell size and
growth rate for cyanobacteria in general and particu-
larly (but not exclusively) Anacystis nidulans =
Synechococcus leopolienesis
