The Freshwater Algae course will be conducted again at the
Kindrogan
Field Centre in the highlands of Scotland from 2-9 August 2003. This
course is open to individuals with different backgrounds ranging from
beginners to those who would like to refresh their knowledge of
particular groups of algae or experience collecting in a different
region of the world. The course focuses on how to get to grips with
identification, but broader aspects of algal morphology, structure,
reproduction, classification will be discussed. There are some places
still available, but you will need to book with Kindrogan by 30 June
