Those reading this newsgroup should provide more discussion. Schistosomiasis
continues to spread. In the WHO Weekly Epidemiological Record of 25 July,
Maurtiania officially recognized that Schistosoma mansoni is endemic, thus 53
countries are endemic for intestinal schistosomiasis due to S. mansoni.
We are particularly interested in documentation of resistance to praziquantel
and on epidemiological data from endemic countries.
