his Conference fulfils a unique role at a time of rapid advances in
molecular and cell biology of helminth parasites, the nematodes,
cestodes and trematodes. It builds on 2 previous meetings held in
Edinburgh (in 1997 and 1999) with a mixed format of invited speakers,
selected submitted presentations, poster sessions and workshops. The
Conference combines broad areas of helminth research ranging from
applied aspects such as chemotherapy, drug resistance and
immunoprophylaxis, through to areas of basic science such as
developmental biology, neurobiology and functional genomics.
Attendance will be limited to 100 delegates.

Please note that we do not have facilities to accept credit card
payments, and ask delegates to pay the Conference Fee by cheque.
The Hotels will take credit cards. We hope to have credit card
facilities ourselves by 2004!
Delegates should arrive any time on Saturday 14 September, taking a
hydrofoil from Piraeus (Athens). Delegates leave Hydra on the morning
of Thursday 19 September.
