Indeed. We have Irix 4.0.5F binaries for it too; however we've just purchased
a 5.3 based system (the 4.0.5F wasn't ours anyway) and have recompiled
everything. We know little on how compatible such things are. Would anyone
care to inform us which Irix versions are binary compatible with which others?

Does this imply that Irix 5.3 binaries are even incompatible with Irix 5.2!
