I assume that you're talking here about Trev - being able to drag and drop
a trace file onto a Trev icon. I imagine this isn't too hard to do, but I know
nothing of the Windows OS. (Both gap4 and trev share the same source tree for
Windows and Unix; I do all my development on Unix, but we do have a windows
programmer too so I'll pass this message on.)
Trev allows double clicking on files with the correctly associated filenames,
and if you use the browse button from within the program you can load files
with any names as it will then read the header (even if it's been transfered
in MacBinary mode). However it's completely impossible to register a program
to a file header; Windows just doesn't work that way (pathetic isn't it!?),
unlike some better OSes I could think of :-) Drag and drop would largely cure
the need for that though.
