The beta release has a world-wide licence for 90 days (ish) - until 11th
November. This means anyone can use it, regardless of whether they are
academic or commercial.

At the end of this time we could then issue proper licences to extend the time
period indefinitely, but we're sure to have the non-beta release out by then
so we're unlikely to issue licences for the beta release. The official
non-beta will use licences in the more normal fashion, although your existing
licences will not work. (However it's trivial for us to automatically generate
new licences for all our academic users.)
