I'm getting ready to switch comparative anatomy texts and have been
comparing texts currently available. I had been using Morphogenesis of the
Vertebrates only because the previous instructor had used it. After
looking at what available, I plan to switch to Walker & Leim's new text.
It's very up to date and has a good phylogenetic and functional
perspective on the subject matter. As a second choice, I would go with
Kent. It may be preferred by those who prefer less detail for their classes.
