We have just had a paper accepted by Developmental Biology describing
development of the Xenopus pronephros using two new antibody markers, one
of which is specific to the apical surface of pronephric tubules and
another specific to the duct. Preliminary experiments indicate that the
tubule antibody does not work on axolotls, but we have only tried a couple
of different fixatives. We are testing the duct antibody right now.
