Subject: neurons in salamander spinal cord

Dear Mr. Malacinski,

I was referred to you by Kathy Dorries at the neuroscience department of
Tufts medical school. I approached her becuase I thought that she might
be able to further my instruction of marking interneurons in the spinal
cord of tiger salamanders using a flourescent light microscope. I have
been instructed on this technique by my thesis advisor, but I would like
to approach another authority figure on this matter while I am still
learning the methods. It would have been ideal for me had someone at
Tufts been able to assist me on this problem because it is so close,
but I am hoping that since you have contact with Kathy that you might know
someone else in the Boston area who does some sort of similar research.
Any information you might have or further references would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you. Sincerely,

Emily Snow
