axolotl plans for next semester (fwd)

        Lois Abbott (labbott at stripe.colorado.edu) at MCD Biology, CB 347,
Boulder, CO 80309 is planning teratology experiments for an introductory
developmental biology lab using axolotl embryos. Such experiments have been
described for Xenopus using lithium, retinoic acid, surinam, trypan blue,
and heparin.  She would like to hear from anyone with knowledge,
experience, protocols for experiments with these or other teratogenic
agents on axolotls. Also needed is a good protocol for fixing axolotl
embryos at all stages.
