Is there anyone out there who has experience or knows of someone with
experience in induced ovulation and breeding using Leutinizing Hormone
Releasing Hormone (or LHRH for short). There is an LHRH injection
available formulated for large mammals called Factrel made by Ayerst
Laboratories here in Canada. Each 1mL of Factrel has 50mcg of
gonadorelin hydrochloride preserved with 2% benzyl alcohol, all in
aqueous solution. I'm wondering 1) Is this formulation safe for
amphibians, and 2) What is the dosage per Kg body weight.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
