On the chance that some of the embryolgists on this list are interested in
ascidians, I've appended a possibly useful "offer" of help from a company.
Yours, -Dick Gordon

I'm looking for researchers that need ascideans / tunicates or similar
filter feeders. My company commercially grows marine microalgae and as part
of our post-harvest system we use ascideans to clean the water of residual
algae. The upshot is that we have LOTS of ascideans. I understand that
there are people doing cancer research with ascideans and probably need a
good source. Since we don't care what kind of ascideans or other filters we
use I thought there might be an opportunity to provide a free service.

So here's the offer:

If you are doing research and need ascideans or other filter feeders, please
contact me and we'll discuss growing your animals in our system. I will
provide a growing environment free of charge. In return I'll request
information on how the animal might be developed into a commercial product.

Thank you,

Randy Reed
