tenure track position

Animal Molecular Biologist.  The Department of Biology at the University of
Regina invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant
Professor level, effective July 1, 2001 (subject to budgetary approval).  We
are seeking qualified individuals who use molecular techniques to study
animal systems.  The successful candidate will have opportunities to
interact with a number of individuals who use molecular techniques in their
research fields.  Candidates must have a recent PhD, postdoctoral experience
and a productive research record.  As well as establishing an
externally-funded research program, the successful candidate will be
expected to participate in the teaching of undergraduate and graduate
courses, and to develop an advanced undergraduate course in his/her area of
expertise.  Start-up research funds will be provided, as well as a reduced
teaching load in the first two years.  To apply for the position, submit a
