I am not aware of a complete review on the topic, but the types of blood
cells found in newts are briefly described in:
Sicard, R.E. (1983) Blood Cells and their Role in Regeneration.
Experimental Cell Biology, 51: 51-59.
Sicard reports in this paper that the blood cell types seen in newts are
similar to those in other vertebrates and provides some photographs.
