Postdoctoral Research Opportunities in Salamander Genomics
Applications are invited for 2 postdoctoral fellows at Thomas Hunt
Morgan School of Biological Sciences, University of Kentucky.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. and research experience in one or more of
the following areas: genetics, genomics, evolution, development,
bioinformatics, and molecular biology. The successful applicants are
expected to develop a strong research project in conjunction with
ongoing projects, which include: (1) functional genomic and
evolutionary genetic analysis of salamander metamorphosis and
regeneration, (2) comparative analysis of the salamander genome, (3) EST
characterization and bioinformatics, and (4) molecular evolution.
Appointments are for 2-3 years, starting Fall 2002 or Spring 2003. To be
