In my original message, I failed to state what area of Virology I
am working in. For the last three years, I have been working in the area
of viral transcription. Two of those three years were spent studying
the mechanics of Tat mediated HIV-1 transcription. For the last year,
I have been studying the kinetics of influenza A transcriptase.
I am a molecular biologist & biochemist by training but have learned
a great deal of general virology over the last few years.
