Hi Vironetters,

Some time ago I expended some considerable time and effort to get this group
in the air so to speak (mind you I did it gladly) and I have been thinking
about ways to get some more activity in this group. Here are some of my ideas.
Any assistance in carrying these out would be gratefully received.
There are a large number of newsletters circulating in countries throughout
the world with information on communicable diseases. Articles with virological
interest could find their way into this group. I would be happy to receive
such articles by email (or snail mail if no other option).
A formal approach could be made to the three groups for rapid viral diagnosis
(Pan - American, European, and Asia-Pacific) and their newsletters could be
published in this group.
Whilst computer programs for things biological (or more usually molecular
biological) end up being announced in bionet.software, a discussion or
announcements of programs with a distinct virological flavour could take place
in this group.
Finally, this is a free forum so any hot virological gossip might also end up
here !
I shall do my best to add to the traffic ! (more postings to follow !)
