I will be teaching an Introdutory Virology course next
semester for junior and senior level college students.
I have used Field's Virology (Raven Press, 1990) in the
past with mixed (mostly negative) reviews from students.
The major complaints were: too much _detailed_ information
and little experimental basis to the information. I would
note however that journal assignments were made throughout
the course.
Would someone care to recommmend other texts in Virology
and any pro and/or con comments. Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Bill
