In our department, many of us use CLONE and ENHANCE. Both programs
work well. Clone is a manipulation program with reasonably flexibility but
its final product is OK but not visual aid quality. Enhance can use
Clone files and is a plasmid drawing program. So one can work out the
cloning strategy, etc. with CLONE and make a nicer visual drawing of it
using ENHANCE. I don't know where it can be had except by purchase from
its creator.
