Hello all,
In the midst of the annual examination marking jamboree I thought I'd raise
my head for a moment and ask a couple of questions...
1.
Since we are on the subject of understanding acronyms, can anyone tell me
what VPg stands for? I've always assumed that it meant Viral protein group,
but one of my students asked me the other day and we couldn't find a
definition anywhere in the text books!
2.
I have need of a plasmid vector (something simple like pUC18/19) but with
an Mlu1 site in the polylinker (and nowhere else). Before I go off and
engineer one, I thought I would make use of the 'information superhighway'
and see if anyone already has such a vector and could maybe post me a few
microgrammes.
Thanks,
Cris
