Help! Unidentified mono-like sickness

My girlfriend has been sick for 2.5 years... and the doctors have not
yet been able to identify it. I'm hoping to get suggestions to check
out with her doctors. Here's the deal:

She had mononucleosis over 2.5 years ago, and recovered. EBV was
verified. Since then, (for the past 2.3 years) she suffers from
extreme fatigue (needs 10-12 hrs sleep a night) and extreme nausea.
She's seen about 8 doctors already and none have been able to verify
it. A recent probe (fiber optic) revealed that her stomach lining
was inflamed, however, the biopsy taken by the probe did not reveal
the bacteria they were looking for. Her regular doctor touch-tests
her spleen and thyroids, but he says they're ok.

Does anybody have any suggestions? Thank you for your time. Please
send responses to: gbchoy at engr.ucdavis.edu
