Actually I heard it was Strep pyogenes (sp?) which is a fairly well
known bacteria, then later I heard Strep septicaemia which I have never
heard of. Apparently the news media in the UK are all using "virus" and
"bacteria" pretty interchangeably. Well, I'm off to the UK tomorrow,
and if I hear about any far out virus, I'll post on my return.
