Pemphigus vulgaris commonly is caused by autoimmun disorder.
So the treatment strategy is to give immunosuppresant to the patient.
Corticosteroid such as prednison or dexamethasone is commonly used to treat
this disease, but you should be careful to determine the dosage and to cover
the patient  from secondary infection due to the immunosupressive effect of
these drugs.
I suggest you to consult Dermatologist
