Hi!

If i remember well, retroviruses alter the membran composition. In fact,
the protein-synthesis-engines produce viral proteins destinated to the
membran to avoid new particles entry. (sorry for my english). So it's
impossible to reinfect a cell culture by the same retrovirus. This
phenomenon is also abserved for vegetal retroviruses.
