I am looking for a vector related with HSV proteinase.
Hmmm....Here's what I am looking for.
In HSV Type 1 genome, there's a region called UL26 which encodes
proteinase that has proteolytic activity upon the product of UL26.5,
ICP35
converting it to VP22a-viral assembly protein.
What I need is the fragment of BamH1 of UL26.....
I've heard someone already inserted the fragment and expressed in
E.coli.
Do inform me if you know any related.
