Hi net virologists:
I am trying to find out whether I was the only person who got scammed
at the recent Xth ICV in Jerusalem (August, '96) by the organisation
calling itself AVCS (Audio Visual Confrerence Services?) from the
Netherlands. These were the guys advertising audio- and videotapes of
the Congress plenaries and workshops. I ordered a couple of hundred
$US worth of tapes from them, for teaching purposes, with the
expectation that these would be delivered within a couple of weeks of
purchase.
I have still not seen a single tape.
Did anyone else order anything from them, and did they deliver?
Ta,
