If people went into it not knowing that the vectors were crippled, in
that they cannot cause the symptoms of herpesvirus infection, then
they would be crazy (or masochistic). Obviously the workers
intending to use such vectors should make very sure (a) that the
viruses ARE crippled / non-virulent, (b) that the public has been
WELL informed beforehand.
