I am a longtime virologist but only recently HIV-doc.
I have been growing HIV in my lab but have had a lot of trouble
culturing up from frozen plasma (as opposed to co-culture with PBMC's).
I have been looking around for high sensitivity methods but don't want
to spend a lot of effort re-inventing the wheel. Right now I am using
the standard ACTG methods but I would be very interested in any
improvements others have worked out or any good references people know
of.
