To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Sir Macfarlane Burnet's birth, a
symposium on virology and immunology featuring 7 Nobel Laureates will be
held in Melbourne, Australia, in August 1999. This is just prior to the
three International congresses being held in Sydney, Australia - Virology,
Bacteriology and Applied Microbiology, and Mycology.
