A new newsgroup called alt.support.hpv-virus has been proposed in alt.config.
There has been an unfortunate argument against it because we cannot produce
numbers showing that there would be enough interest in the newsgroup to
support it and help it propogate. I blame this on the fact that there really
isn't a place for people with the questions to post and so they probably don't
post at all. The majority of HPV discussion have taken place in
slt.support.herpes as a substitute. A Dejanews search has indicated that
discussion on HPV has taken place in your newsgroup. Through my research I
have found no fewer than 15 newsgroups where HPV discussion has taken place,
but not flourished as a "support" network because the groups where the
discussions took place are vague or off-topic.
If you would like to see this newsgroup created it is imperative that you post
an atricle to the newsgroup alt.config within the next week voicing your
support.
