Hi everyone,
Is anyone aware of a method for detecting CJD in clinical samples, with the
exception of the 14-3-3 protein method.
I have heard of an antiprionin antibody assay (ELISA) but don't seem to be
getting any reply from the corporation involved in it's manufacture.
As you are aware Australia is currently in a state of increased awareness,
with respect to sub-clinical illness, and I feel the need to introduce an
assay that may help to allay some of the obvious fears associated with this
condition.
Any advice would be most welcome.
