RE: KUN and WNV
What about glycosylation of proteins from infected cell cultures -
absolutely nothing to do with DNA! Use tritiated mannose and separate on
SDS-PAGE. KUN has a set of glycoproteins - gp66, gp 59 & gp 53. Some
strains of WNV are not glycosylated (?? from memory) and the MW will be
different for those that are!
