Dear Dr.Hebert,

I am a PhD student at IRBM-Merck/Rome. We are planning to use MMTV-LTR
promoter during the process of transgenic mouse generation. I am facing some
problems and would be very grateful if you could help . I came across one of
your messages in the virology mailing list and learned you worked with this
promoter in the past. However I am encountering some problems with finding
an expression vector with MMTV-LTR. Unfortunately up to now I could not find
a commercial vector, as the ones that were bearing MMTV-LTR are
discontinued(also pMAMneo). In our institute I found a very old vector
having this promoter, unfortunately without any sequence information. I
wanted to sequence it, however since the sequence information is scarce,
oligo-design became problematic.

I would be very happy if you could share any possible information on
MMTV-LTR sequence, or a vector that you now which might be available
currently.

Thank you in advance for your time and help,

Zeynep Gunes
