Condensed Matter Physics/Biophysics
Experiment/Computation

Available now. One year with a probable extension for an additional
year. Salary approximately $25,000. Research on the relationship
between neural network computation and neurobiology, including
the analysis of optical imaging data in vertebrate cortex, the study of
branching structure of neurons in amphibians, and the relation
between these structures and computation in neural network
simulations. An interest in working with experimental animals and
experience in amphibian neurobiology are welcome but prior
experience is not required. Experience in computational pattern
analysis and an interest in learning and developing new techniques
helpful. Send c.v. (including a list of publications and copies of
pertinent articles) and three letters of recommendation to: Prof.
