Well in my house when I was growing up, we were always watching science
fiction movies, like Fantastic Voyage, and 2001; and shows like Nova, Cosmos,and
National Geographic. Books were always available, and magazines. We had a
whole series of Time Life books, encyclopedias. I serously thought I
wanted to be an Astrophysicist for many years. My Dad was an Electrical
Engineer, so there were always computers in the house.
I realized quite young that I wanted to be a scientist, I believe when I
was in 5'th grade. I was influenced by a male teacher, who made science
and history very interesting. When did you all decide to become scientists,
or Biologists or whatever.
