Our local middle school holds a Woman and Technology conference every
year. I participated the first year and set up a NeXT computer, examples
of the net, opened some apps. Lots of Moms attended, but the girls sat
down, took over and had a ball. I now have the ability to set up a slip
connection and demo Mosaic live. Think I'll put that on my calender,
thanks to this prompt. If you are interested in contacting this school

participate in this sort of thing I can recommend it highly, just call
your local district or the head of the HS Science Dept. My husband gave a
presentation to an AP biology class several years ago and one student, now
heading toward med school, is doing an internship with him this summer.
This type of thing pays off.
