Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences
Developmental Biology or Molecular-Cellular Immunology

Tenure-track position for person seeking a balance of research and
teaching in a department designated a UW System Center of Excellence,
beginning Fall, 1995. Require PhD and post-doctoral research with
expertise in developmental biology or molecular-cellular immunology and
proven competence in applying molecular biology techniques in research. 
Teaching experience and a broad background in biology helpful.  Duties
include: 1) research involving M.S. and undergraduate students; 2)
initially teaching an introductory course for non-majors, laboratory
modules on working with cultured cells and proteins, and upper division
courses in area of specialty; and 3) service to the university. 

UW-Parkside's campus is an attractive, park-like setting in the
Chicago-Milwaukee urban corridor with a diverse student body.  The
14-person department offers strong undergraduate concentrations in General
Biology, Pre-health Professions, and Molecular Biology, as well as a
thesis-based M.S. in Applied Molecular Biology.  All faculty have active
research programs; collaborations are encouraged.
