Jobs can be hard to find and can require a big effort.This can be
eased by employing the old boys (it still is the old boys) network and
I wonder whether you have explored all such avenues. However, I know
men, who even in the good old days, had to put in an enormous effort.
One very good person put in 200 applications until he got a faculty
position-this person was also well connected, and very good. So do not
give up..but I think you should decide what you want to do and go
after it.
