Greetings everyone. I edit a column called "Research in Progress" for the
journal "Women in Natural Resources." I would like to do a column on how
women scientists use the Internet in their research. So, I would be really
interested in hearing examples of how the Internet has assisted you with
your research - whether it just be E-mail or FTP sites, newsgroups, WWW,
etc. Short paragraphs would be fine, and I will include your name and
affiliation as a subheading so it could count as an authorship for you. I
need to have this done soon (my deadline is Jan. 20), so please E-mail me at
jmicales at facstaff.wisc.edu or you can post directly to this newsgroup if
you have any ideas or examples. Thanks for your help. I think it will be
an interesting article.
P.S. - Scientists at all levels are welcome: high school students, college
students, graduate students, professors, deans, industry people, etc.
:-)
Thanks for you help. I'm looking forward to hearing from you all! Jessie
