Can a chap comment? Course he can (as he has been home with the kids all
his life). Get on with it. Having children is infinitely better than any
'job'. That's why you do it for free. But it is not a cheap pastime, so
you'll need a tolerant partner or a reasonable freelance income. Try
working as a consultant, i.e. self-employed, from home. This is the way
of the future. You could find a few more paragraphs on this topic in my
book PATTERNS OF SEX (published in the 70's). But jobs are prostitution,
sometimes a useful way to get the money in, but - oh! - what a waste of
parenthood.
