Hi
Yeah, don't lets be sexist in what is fundamentally a fairly sexist world. We
ought to be positively encouraging a wide range of input from anyone who is
interested in reading about what it's like to be a working woman in science.
Perhaps if more men took time to really try to understand the issues here
there would not be so many issues here !
I am a working Biochemist with a 9 month old baby. I love my baby more than
anything else in the world but my career has taken a major hit for this. I
work part time in an engineering company making medical diagnostic
instrumentation and I feel as though no-one takes my job seriously anymore. I
put up with this because it is the best thing (I feel) for Liza at the moment.
There must be a better option for me.
