This is not my area of research but I'll give it a shot. Basically the
amount of integration of information and verbilization are different.
Women have more callosal connections (between left and right hemispheres)
and those connections are thought to give women the integrative approach.
Men tend to be more "bottom line" oriented. Get to the point with the
problem, focus in. These are oversimplified of course. The preception of
data seems to be different with men being more spatially cued and women
more verbally. Of course these are generalizations and lots of individuals
are working on this. A popular book dealing with differences in men and
women is Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus. This book deals with
learning and the different approaches to relating to one another. Hoped
this helped.
