Mystery Pain!

What's going on? Doctors are baffled with my wife's back pain. She has lower
back pain that radiates around to her abdomen area. Sometimes down to hips and
legs (mostly left). Feels like buttocks in vice. Never goes away. Ultrum seems
to be only med that works slightly. Without it, pain is very severe. Tried
vicadin, codine, duragesic patch, numerous inflamatories and muscle relaxers.

Strange thing is mobility is 100%. Have to keep moving to keep mind off pain.
If idle, seems to get worse. Hard time sleeping, riding in car unbearable.
Alternateing heat and cold will help a little.

She's had back pain for 4 yrs. MRI, CAT scan (torso), bone scan, nerve
conduction, nerve blocks, IVP for kidneys, stomach scoped, bladder check,
ultrasound and tons of doctors. Has had hysterectomy with one ovary remaining.
 Nothing shows the problem.

Has tried pain therapy, chiropractors, acupuncture, neurologist, gp's galore,
orthopedics. Now seeing electromyography physiatry treatment. Waiting for bone
 scan results.

Any ideas are well appreciated
