For all the reasons that Susan lists, I have been very interested in
tracking down all of the members of my graduate school class in the
biology dept at UCSD that entered in 1975. The reason for this is that
we had 20 students that entered that year and we had 10 men and 10
women and we all eventually got our PhDs. I have on-and-off entertained
the notion of writing a short article about what happened to evryone.
Hopefully some of you who read this group can help. Here's what I can
remember about my class mates and what they are doing now:
Janis Weeks-- Professor at Univ. Oregon and Chair of Biology
Cam Day-- SRA at CSR in NIH
Ralph Nitkin-- Program Director at NICHD
LaVerne Ragster-- (Professor?? at Univ. of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands)
Kathy Spindler-- Associate Professor, University of Georgia
Roberto Kolter--Professor?? are you still at Harvard Med School in the
Micro dept?
John Ivy-- are you still in Hawaii?
John Miller--were you officially in our class--are you still Professor
at UC Berkeley?
Joan Odell--where are you?
Janine Zieg-- still in Boston? are you still in science?
Theresa Lawlor--where are you?
Deborah Werntz--where are you? are you still a neuroscientist?
Beth Grabau --where are you?
Mike McKeown--are you still at the Salk (Susan, do you know?)
Dan Chin--you went off to postdoc with Brown or Goldstein in
Dallas--where are you now?

school
