The American Chemical Society has a general code of conduct, as well as
ethical guidelines for publications (which covers authorship, etc.).
The ACS reorganized their web page a few weeks ago, but I think these
links should work:

http://www.acs.org:80/membership/conduct.html
http://pubs.acs.org:80/instruct/ethic.html
